BASKETBALL GAMES

So I told you that I have been assistant coaching Kat's little dribblers team-it is absolutely a blast.
It is very eventful and full of laughs. When this team started they had trouble passing the ball, they had trouble shooting and let's not even talk about dribbling. Now we find outself at what was suppose to be at our last game tonight. The tournament that leads to the championship. We were playing tonight and did not expect to win-but we did 14-4.
So exciting. Now we are playing one more game the championship game. Kat is so excited,
The team has done well and it has been a blast coaching and watching the kids play and improve and gain confidence.
It has been fun watching them learn what a foul is and double dribbling is.

Dead fish- new fish

The kids have had these 2 beta fish for almost a year. Shawn loves the fish.
He talks to them, and they even let you pet them. So you can imagine the shock when I woke up one morning a while back and found it dead. So I swore Kat to secret and ran to the fish store and replaced it with another one that looked just like his, and replaced it before he ever noticed.
Kat has done well keeping it a secret but that was almost all lost this past Wednesday night.
I found it dead and we were all home. So I called Bryan back to the guest room to tell Bryan and see what he wanted me to do since the fish store was 20 minutes away and was closing in like 10 minutes. Bryan said we have to tell him because he tells it good night.
So we called him to the room that we were in and Bryan said "Hey buddy you know blue-your fish-and Shawn said "Yea he is a good fish." And Bryan said "I know buddy but he is dead." Shawn's face was priceless-he was all happy and ready to go to church, and the next he is on the floor pouting and crying. It was horrible. Then Bryan went to clean out the bowl and Shawn would not let him because he said that was Blue's home. So we waited until Shawn was asleep to clean it.
The next morning Shawn forgot and went to look in the bowl and remembered Blue was dead. I told him that we would go on Friday and get a new fish. That fixed everything.
Yes he still talks about Blue, and when we went to get the new fish he would not go look at the blue fish and said he wanted a yellow one this time because it wont die.
We are so in trouble if this one dies soon. Lol I am praying that this fish lives long. Shawn has not named this one yet-hopefully we will be more creative than naming it after the color of the fish.

MY SWEET VALENTINES!

I had a great Valentines day.
First my in-laws came down and spen Friday night with us and left Saturday taking both of my kdis with them.
Then I left to see my baby nephews. I could not wait to see them. Bryan was going to go with me but he is sick. He cannot stop coughing and says his nose is running-he claims it is allergies, but I THINK it is the same junk that everyone in the world is getting.
So I drove to Snyder with the excitement bubbling and finally got there to hold and cuddle with my little guys, and see my sister in law and brother. Dustin was working hard on his house but I really enjoyed hanging out with Amy and the boys.
Amy cooked a very good pasta meal for lunch-soo good. The boys are growing up so fast and getting to be so strong. They were so sweet and I really got my baby fix, and just snuggled as much as the boys let me.
But sadly I had to tell the boys bye at 7 p.m. so I could go home to check on Bryan.
Whom has finally listened to me- and started taking medicine and slowly starting to feel better.
The kids are not back yet but I expect them soon. Bryan is resting and slowly getting rid of the cough and junk but I stayed home today and took care of him.
The kids do not have school tomorrow but Kat does have a basketball game. I am assistant coaching her team and it is hilarious. The team is doing great and winning 4 games in a row.
Well I guess that is all-will hollar back later.

SO LOVED CATS

I finally can cross off another life dream. This past weekend my mom and I went to the musical hit-CATS.

If anyone knows me they know my love for cats. There is just something about this animal that I am drawn too. Anyways it was so much fun.

We went to the chocolate factory on the square-that place was awesome and I will go back soon. Amazing chocolate and great prices. We also ate at this place called Ferre and it was amazing. The view was beautiful and the sun was just setting-the view of the performance hall was amazing and it was peaceful.

We went into the performance hall and it was beautiful. It was all white with marble flooring and it was just so elegant and beautiful. The dome inside the hall was my favorite. It was so cool. Then the lights dimmed and it was time to start. I love that feeling that one gets right before the play begins-as the lights go out and everyone gets quiet and you can just hear a pin drop.

The play was awesome and everything I have been dreaming it would be. I have been dying to see this since I was like 6 years old and my dad just told me to when I was 18 I could see it-then it left broadway. So when I heard about it I immediately had to go.

I was in the second row from the stage it was awesome.

Here are a few pics from the night. This is part of the Bass Performance Hall from the front doors. At the front of the building are these two sculptures of trumpet playing 'angels'. It really is a sight to see. very pretty. I had a ton of fun and I hope mom did too.
